Michael Wescott

Senior Automation Engineer

Michael is a skilled Automation and Control Systems Engineer with over 15 years of experience in programming various PLC's, HMI's, and Smart Drive VFD's and servos. His experience extends to both Cartesian and Six-axis robotics, reading and understanding electrical schematics, and utilizing AutoCAD Electrical effectively in creation of electrical drawing packages. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and 25 years of experience in maintaining all aspects of control systems and electrical systems for production equipment/machinery for large-scale clients, Michael has extensive programming experience including PLC Ladder Logic IEC 61131-3, various HMI packages, Robot programming software, Visual Basic, and C language. Michael is a certified Fanuc Robotics Teach Pendant Instructor and has taught Robotics classes for WSU Tech for 3 years, covering ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, and Motoman basics. His knowledge, experience, and skillset make him a valuable asset to any team looking to improve their production efficiency and streamline their control systems.
