Brad Cartier

Senior Consultant

Brad brings more than 35 years of experience helping manufacturers improve flow and throughput. He began his career in Theory of Constraints (TOC) with the Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute, the organization led by Dr. Eli Goldratt, the founder of TOC. Since then he has led improvement initiatives in aerospace, defense, medical device, MRO, industrial manufacturing, and distribution environments. His work also includes project management for new product development and launch, software development, and ERP implementations. Brad combines TOC, Lean, and Six Sigma to find the true constraint limiting an operation and to build practical solutions that people at every level can carry forward. He has trained hundreds of professionals in Critical Chain Project Management, and he has spoken at PMI and APICS events and taught TOC principles in MBA programs at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and the University of St. Thomas. Brad holds a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, is a certified TOC Practitioner, and holds Lean and Six Sigma credentials.
