Melissa Boom

With more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations, and transformation, Melissa Boom has served in executive roles including Vice President of Business Excellence and Director-level positions in Quality, Program Management Office, and Enterprise Systems. She has led enterprise-wide initiatives in operational excellence, lean, structured problem solving, quality systems, process maturity, risk analysis, and change management. Known for clarifying complex challenges and aligning leadership and front-line teams, she emphasizes people-centered improvement to strengthen systems, reduce risk, and empower individuals.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota, along with various additional certifications, such as lean, six sigma, and communications. She lives with her family in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
